Gluckli Focus: Glucose is the brain's energy
Gluckli is a revolutionary medical device that continuously measures the blood glucose concentration BGC in very- and extremely preterm infants in a safe non-invasive fashion.
Excessively low BGC is common in premature infants and leads to irreversible brain damage with lifelong disabilities. Gluckli will avoid this. Initial measurements with the Gluckli prototype sensors on premature infants were promising and gave realistic BGC values.
The new principle of Gluckli measurement will replace blood sampling and will extend it to other molecules. It is a groundbreaking new monitoring method.
